Ryouichi joined BABYLON on May 1st, 2006. His former band was otoiro, where he was known as RIyoU.
He also gained a new nickname since the BABYLON oneman in april 22, 2006: GOOD ONE (the literal translation of his name "Ryou = good, ichi = one"), so most fans, band members and even himself refer to him as GOOD ONE, G1, etc.
