Pietoro was a childhood friend of Rietto, and his first band experience was in 業 (Karma), a band formed by Rietto (called Yoshihiko at the time) and 葵 (Aoi, aka Eruze). Pietoro was asked to join as a support drummer. At first, Karma had a vocalist called Shin, but later he left the band and Pietoro (called 瞳夜 -Touya- back then) decided to do vocals for the first time.
A new support drummer joined Karma: Masaki Oono, and with this formation the band released a 2-track demotape. One of the songs (FUNERAL) was composed by Touya, with lyrics by Yoshihiko, while the other one (CRIME) was entirely written by Yoshihiko.
Karma disbanded and all of the members except Touya formed Nageki Shito when Rietto met Misa. Misa was in charge of vocals, so Touya was the only Karma member who wasn't part of Nageki Shito.
However, in June of 1997 Nageki Shito disbands; Rietto and Eruze decide to form a new band with twin bass and twin vocals. They remembered Misa played bass besides doing vocals, but they were missing 1 more vocalist, so they called their old Karma vocalist Touya to form part of the new band. Touya changed his name to Pietoro and also changed his singing style from his Karma days; since a contrast between his voice and Misa's voice was needed, Pietoro started singing 1 octave higher than his actual register, thus his trademark voice was created in Da'vid.
Since Pietoro died in Da'vid, he created a new persona for himself, called -F- (pronounced "Furan"), and along with Eruze (who also changed his name, to Noble) and Kyon formed the band pleur. Pietoro has a rival called Kuro Pie, who is none other than Pietoro's evil side personality.
After pleur, Pietoro/-F-/Kuro Pie left the musical stage for quite some time (almost a decade), but he never stopped making music.
As of today, Pietoro decided to get back to stage, this time going back to his roots and being a drummer. He is playing support drums for a band, which so far haven't released any records.
