Michiru's first bands were ラナンキュラス (Ranankyuran) and L'yse:nore, where he was a bassist. After that Michiru opened his own record label: Loop Ash around 2000, and started Michiru Project, which had many member changes except for himself. He also changed bass for guitar.
The final member formation of Michiru Project included Kamui Sarino and Hiroki as official members, and Misa occasionally as support live bassist. Along with Misa, Michiru formed Aioria and they became Loop Ash's central band. When they disbanded in 2002, Michiru started a new project called S to M, along with his ex-Aioria bandmates Hiroki and Kazutake, they also had a session band that was featured with 1 song in the LOOP OF LIFE III V.A. CD, called アイオロス (Aioros) in 2003, and also that year, Michiru was part of another session band called ぽけ…。 (Poke...) along with REN (ex-Da'vid/shito:aL).
After S to M, Michiru formed the band MASK along with Kazutake, they disbanded in 2006 and Michiru stated that he would retire from playing in bands, but he will still be working on production and promotion of bands and his label, however as of 2008 he's taking part of a session band called キテる!BAND (Kiteru!BAND).
Also in 2008 Michiru and Misa teamed up again, but this time not to play music but soccer! check it out here.
