Maya's former bands include 美辞麗句, chercher, Blanc:Musee, HAIL DUST FILM, 人格ラヂオ (Jinkaku Radio), MUSHI, カラス天狗 (Karasu tengu), and acmahead (悪魔頭), He joined BABYLON on May 8th, 2006.
Maya and Takuma had a side-project unit called バツ (Batsu), where Maya played acoustic guitar while Takuma sang, they can be seen on BABYLON's Mayuzora live DVD performing one of their songs.
On february, 2008 Maya decided to leave the band, and said he would be still working with music but as DJ and/or manipulator (sound programmer) for other bands, although he might take part of a band again in the future.
