Mai's first known work was in the band EX NIHILO in the early 90s. After that, he joined the popular indies band D≒SIRE, later he quit and forms the band GRASS along with D≒SIRE's bassist Hiderow.
In 1998, Mai is credited as sound advisor in Misa's solo demo tape "Kakuu no hitobito". Shortly after that, Mai and Misa create Klein Kaiser.
After Klein Kaiser, Mai and SACO form the band eden gate, but there's almost zero information about it, and sadly after that there were no news about him.
